On November 30, the second international BIM forum “BIM2UKRAINE. STEP2” will be held in Kyiv at UNIT-City. The forum was joined by the executive director of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine, Oleksandr Petushkov

“This is a landmark event in the process of implementing the Building Information Model in Ukrainian construction,” he emphasized.

According to the executive director of NEBAU, the Alliance has been working on the topic of BIM for a long time: “We hold our own events and implement projects on this topic. We constantly attract new BIM experts to our activities. Therefore, we could not miss this event today.”

The program of this year’s BIM Forum is extremely rich. It has three sessions planned. The first session discussed the implementation of BIM at the state level. Representatives of the government and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are present at the event.

Next, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovska spoke. She spoke about the innovations that await the construction sector after the adoption of the draft law “On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code of Ukraine Regarding Strengthening Responsibility in the Sphere of Urban Planning Activities”:

“This bill will strengthen the responsibility of signatories for commissioning a construction project.”

The second session considered the issue of implementing digital technologies in civil construction. The international forum concluded with a discussion of industrial construction and infrastructure.

Representatives from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and China spoke.

This forum is a great opportunity to exchange experiences and find ideas for new projects.
