The Ministry of Regional Development updates state building codes for the design and construction of healthcare facilities
The agency recently published draft terms of reference for the development of two new DBNs.
The first of these contains regulations for the design and construction of buildings for providing primary care. The second defines the rules for the construction of emergency care and disaster medicine centers.
“The current rules for designing and building healthcare facilities are morally outdated. At the same time, the medical care system has also changed significantly. The current regulations do not allow the use of modern methods in clinics, hospitals, and emergency departments. The new building codes will correct this shortcoming,” says Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovska.
