On December 24, the Scientific and Technical Council under the Ministry of Regional Development approved amendments to 12 state construction standards (DBN) regarding requirements for construction, reconstruction, and major repairs regarding:

  • improvement of territories (DBN B.2.2-5:2011; changes);
  • buildings and structures of social protection institutions (DBN V.2.2-18:2007; changes);
  • catering enterprises (restaurant establishments) (DBN V.2.2-25:2009; changes);
  • installation of gas-using equipment for apartment heating and hot water supply (DBN V.2.5-20:2018 Gas supply; possible change);
  • automated systems for early detection of the threat of emergency situations and notification of the population;
  • basic requirements for mechanical resistance and stability of buildings and structures;
  • basic provisions for the design of solid waste landfills (changes), concrete and reinforced concrete structures, design standards for loads and impacts;
  • composition and content of scientific and design documentation for the restoration of architectural monuments and urban planning (DBN A.2.2-14-2016; amended).

The Ministry of Regional Development plans to approve these changes by the end of 2019.
