The Government adopted a draft resolution “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 554 of May 23, 2011.”
It approved the Procedure for professional certification of responsible performers of certain types of work or services related to the creation of architectural objects.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Local Government promises that the updated Procedure will increase the professional level of specialists in the urban planning industry and make the procedure for conducting professional certification more transparent.
The project provides for:
- use of the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector (UESESSB) when accepting, processing, issuing documents, conducting professional certification, as well as informing about the results of certification;
- improving the procedure for conducting the exam and the mechanism for depriving the contractor of a qualification certificate;
- creating the Attestation Architectural and Construction Commission;
- regulating the procedure for creating appeal commissions, the procedure for their consideration of complaints and making relevant decisions on controversial issues;
- conducting professional certification of contractors regardless of their membership in a self-regulatory organization, etc.
