The National Union of Design Business promotes the training of construction specialists who are able to respond to environmental changes in a timely manner and apply the latest technologies in their work
It is in such specialists that we see the future of the industry. To this end, we actively cooperate with higher educational institutions, including the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUBA).
Professor of KNUBA Maryna Klymchuk spoke in detail about the latest programs and approaches to education at the All-Ukrainian Urban Planning Forum, which was recently held at the International Exhibition Center.
She focused on the practical implementation of artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies in higher education. For this purpose, KNUBA is implementing a joint Polish-Ukrainian project “KATAMARAN”. It includes a training course “Cognitive Technologies”. It combines traditional science with information technologies. This meets the modern needs of the labor market.
“All disciplines within the educational program are taught in English. This is an advantage for students to be competitive. According to the terms of the project, students study at both universities under the double diploma program,” notes Maryna Klymchuk.
The course meets the needs of the labor market. These specialists will be able to use the latest technologies in their professional activities. This is especially true for the sphere of modern business services, which has been dynamically developing in Poland and Ukraine in recent years. According to experts, by 2025, about 700 thousand specialists will work in this sector.
By the way, NSPS together with KNUBA and the group of companies Win Experts and Allbau Software have developed a unique practical course on BIM technologies (Building Information Model) for students of this university. This project provides an opportunity to obtain high-quality specialists in this area. In the future, they will be able to design objects not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.
