BIM technologies: how to apply them in construction

The Alliance has been working on the topic of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for a long time, bringing new experts specializing in these technologies to its events and projects

Thus, the speakers of the All-Ukrainian Urban Planning Forum, which was recently held at the International Exhibition Center, were joined by Yuriy Smirnov, director of Allbau Software.

His presentation concerned aspects of the work of designers in BIM and demonstrated the latest capabilities and tools that allow creating truly transparent, high-quality, and reliable projects:

“This unique tool has enormous potential. It creates added value when people, processes, and tools interact purposefully throughout the entire life cycle of a construction project. This is extremely important when the design, expertise, construction, and technical supervision of large infrastructure projects are carried out comprehensively, using a single digital model.”

By the way, the Alliance not only includes the topic of VIM technologies in its events, but also implements separate projects in this area.

It is precisely such a joint initiative of Budalyans, the Win Experts group of companies, the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUBA), and the AllbauSoftware company that has developed a unique practical training course for students (KNUBA) in BIM technologies.

For this purpose, the Win Experts group of companies provided ready-made projects that needed to be converted into BIM. And the Allbau Software company provided the appropriate software and consultations.

These processes are coordinated by the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine.

This project provides an opportunity to obtain highly qualified specialists from VIM. In the future, they will be able to design facilities not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.

Since there is a shortage of specialists in this field on the international market.

Let’s continue to work together for development!
