Is it possible for a business owner to save on electricity bills when the price of this strategic energy source increases by 12-15% every year?
The members of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine are confident that it is possible. And they offer a “recipe” – solar power plants for their own consumption.
They told about this during the All-Ukrainian Urban Planning Forum, which was recently held by the Alliance at the International Exhibition Center.
According to the operating director of SUNSEY-Energy, Serhiy Zinkevich, installing its own solar power plant with a capacity of 250 kW allows the company to save up to 40% of its costs per year. Given the current cost of equipment for solar power plants and electricity prices, such an investment in its own company will pay off in 3-4 years.
Solar panels can be installed anywhere: on the roof, on the ground, on various structures. The main condition is that they should not be in the shade. After all, this reduces the efficiency of the equipment. Modern solar power plants are installed quickly, work reliably, and are very easy to maintain.
Nowadays, attention to alternative energy sources is constantly growing. And this is reasonable both from the point of view of saving money and from the point of view of preserving the environment, which is also a trend of the 21st century.
