The Alliance commented on the situation in the construction expertise market
Recently, publications have appeared in the information space that construction experts are sounding the alarm because a scandal is brewing in the Ministry of Regional Development. Since the department is conducting a secret purge of expert organizations
Given such informational fluctuations on this issue by some interested expert organizations, which, by the way, have already been excluded from the list of the Ministry of Regional Development, the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine makes its own statement:
“Our position coincides with the position of the relevant ministry in terms of strengthening the responsibility of expert organizations and increasing the requirements for the latter.
The Alliance and its participants advocate strengthening the positions of expert organizations. Our opinion is unanimous: the expertise should actually become not the final stage of design, but a full-fledged verification of design solutions before the start of construction.
We believe that the list of requirements for expert organizations existing on the market should be expanded further. And attempts to discredit the work of a state body through information pressure are unacceptable.
A healthy competitive environment in the market is possible provided that one’s positions are strengthened. And this includes the employment of experts on a permanent basis, the high quality of expert services, the constant improvement and upgrading of employees’ qualifications, a serious technical base, and the flexibility of the pricing policy for the customer.
So the need to bring order to the expertise market has been long overdue. It is good that this is happening now.”
By the way, public opinion does not always coincide with government bodies. And that is normal. However, in this situation, these are absolutely the right steps.
