President of the NSPS Viktor Leshchynsky: Life begins with internal support
About what shapes a person and determines their path.
NSPS: Mr. Victor, what does a “solid foundation” in life mean to you personally?
Viktor Leszczynski: The foundation for me is something that is not visible from the outside, but it is what holds the entire structure of anything. For me, the foundation in life is love for loved ones, respect for the people around me, and faith in myself, my work, and my future. When these things are there, you can withstand any stress and adversity. Without these key things, even the greatest achievements remain fragile.
NSPS: You often compare life to a house. Why this particular metaphor?
Viktor Leszczynski: No real house is ever built quickly. It requires a well-thought-out plan, time, patience, and responsibility for every decision made. Just like life. In life, every step is like a brick. If, I will say so, somewhere you skimp, neglect the main thing, or rush, then sooner or later even the strongest structure will crack.
NSPS: What principles do you consider to be unchanging, regardless of circumstances?
Viktor Leshchynsky: Honesty before oneself and before others. A word that has weight, for which one is not ashamed and for which one is ready to answer. And, of course, respect for people, even when my opinions do not coincide with theirs. It is these principles, in my opinion, that in our difficult times become clear guidelines and do not allow us to lose ourselves.
NSPS: Was there a moment in your life that made you rethink your values?
Viktor Leszczynski: Everyone has moments like this, even if not everyone talks about them. They come unexpectedly and very honestly ask the question: “What is really important?”. Such moments remind us that it is not only the result that matters, but also the path you took to get to that result. And the people you were with. And who were with you.
NSPS: What motivates you to move forward today?
Viktor Leszczynski: A sense of responsibility. To my family, team, partners, people who trust and count on me. And also – the belief that even small but correct steps, over time, change the future much more noticeably than beautiful or loud words.
NSPS: What advice would you give to those who will read these words of yours?
Victor Leszczynski: Don’t ignore the foundation. Invest time and attention in your loved ones, in your own values, in your inner honesty, in your belief in yourself. When the foundation is strong, then any floors of life – career, dreams, plans, desires – will stand very confidently and for a very long time.
