This week, the largest event of 2020 in the construction industry is taking place – the All-Ukrainian Online Marathon “State and Prospects for the Development of the Construction Industry 2020”
Among the co-organizers and information partners of this prestigious event is the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine. During the Marathon, authoritative speakers and hundreds of participants from all over the country discuss the most pressing issues of the construction industry.
On June 17, in the afternoon, the topic of “Expertise of Construction Projects” was discussed. The discussion was moderated by the President of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine Viktor Leshchynsky and Executive Director Oleksandr Petushkov. In his opening remarks, Viktor Leshchynsky emphasized the importance of cooperation between expert organizations in solving common problems and in the transition to self-regulation in the industry.
Representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and several powerful expert organizations made professional presentations. In particular, the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine was presented by the Executive Director of PNVE “SPECTR” Roman Syromyatnikov, the Head of the Expertise Sector of the “PROEXP” Company Volodymyr Nikolin, and the Leading Expert Vasyl Bachynsky.
It is worth mentioning separately the WIN Experts group of companies, which supported the holding of this marathon day.WIN Experts is a new brand that is designed to be a model in the expert and design direction, a kind of “quality mark” for design documentation and high standards of construction throughout Ukraine. During the marathon, WIN Experts was represented by Sales Director Dmytro Sadikov.
We briefly summarize the topics discussed and the results of this part of the Marathon:
1. Low quality of project documentation, the need to introduce educational initiatives for young specialists;
2. Dumping in the market of expert services, complaints of market participants about the quality of expert reports. The participants emphasized the need to introduce market supervision by public associations, which include expert organizations and representatives of regulatory authorities;
3. During the discussion, the participants agreed to create an expert group based on the Public Council under the Ministry of Regional Development to discuss the issues of the expert environment and find solutions to a number of problematic issues on a regular basis;
4. It is necessary to continue to actively introduce digital technologies in the field of expertise. In particular, the discussion focused on the already existing practical mechanism for converting expert opinions into a digital format and a system for protecting expert opinions using unique DataMatrix codes using Blockchain technology.
The digital transformation of the industry must continue!
