On September 17, the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine held a regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Expert Organizations of the Construction Industry. Each time, new participants join us, becoming reliable partners of the Alliance and participating in many of our projects and initiatives
In particular, at this meeting, Yuriy Smirnov, director of Allbau Software, joined us for the first time. His speech was about Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital method of work for the construction industry.
The Alliance has been working on the topic of BIM for a long time, involving new experts and companies specializing in BIM technologies in its events. Yuriy Smirnov’s presentation mainly concerned aspects of the work of BIM designers and demonstrated the latest capabilities and tools that allow creating truly transparent, high-quality and reliable projects.
This unique tool has enormous potential, as it creates added value when people, processes and tools interact purposefully throughout the entire life cycle of a construction project. This is extremely important when designing, examining, constructing and supervising large infrastructure projects.
We hope that Allbau Software will become a reliable partner for the Alliance in the implementation of future projects related to BIM technologies. Together, we have planned development in the following areas:
- providing practice opportunities for students of the BIM course of KNUBA and other educational institutions of Ukraine;
- training and education for specialists of the Alliance’s participating companies (designers, experts, etc.);
- development of international cooperation in BIM design, expansion of business opportunities for Ukrainian enterprises.
