Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov held the first staff meeting and identified decentralization, DABI reform, and the implementation of the “Great Construction” project as the ministry’s priorities
“Oleksiy Chernyshov identified the continuation of the decentralization reform, reforming the State Agency for the Development of Communities and Territories, and the implementation of the national project “Great Construction” as priorities for the work of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine,” the report says.
It is noted that the meeting was attended by deputy ministers, heads of departments and units. Chernyshov outlined the tasks and formats of future work and interaction.
“The Ministry of Regional Development continues to adhere to the course outlined by Denys Anatolyovich, we are in close contact with the Prime Minister. There are many new tasks ahead for all units and departments of the Ministry, for everyone in this room,” the minister assured.
Chernyshov set tasks for the deputies and heads of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, and also asked to focus not on problems, but on ways to solve them.
As reported, previously, former Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk stated that 2020 is the year of “Great Construction”, the infrastructure modernization of Ukraine. In each region, the heads of regional state administrations are responsible for the timely start and implementation of the “Great Construction” program.
The “Great Construction” program started on March 1 and provides for large-scale construction and major repairs of schools, kindergartens, hospital reception departments, stadiums and roads throughout the country.
