In the first quarter of 2020, the number of informally employed Ukrainians amounted to over 3.4 million people. This was reported by the press service of the State Statistics Service
42% of the informally employed population of Ukraine worked in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
About 17% of the informally employed population worked in construction; another 17% in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; 6% in industry.
In total, 20.6% of the total employed population aged 15 to 70 work without a work book.
