The President of NEBAU presented an award for the development of a logo for the Museum of Architecture and Construction

On April 2, the winner of the competition to develop a logo for the institution was awarded at the National Museum of Architecture and Construction in Kyiv. Kseniya Lysyuk from Kyiv became the winner. The girl received a distinction from the Victor Leshchynsky Foundation and a cash prize of UAH 10,000.

This competition was held on Facebook at the initiative of the V. Leshchynsky Foundation and with the support of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine and the Win Experts group of companies. It began on January 18 and lasted until February 28, reaching almost half a million people.

“It is extremely pleasing that so many creative people responded to this important social initiative. The professional jury evaluated as many as 162 logos. It included the management of five specialized universities of Ukraine (VNTU, KNUBA, PDABA, KNUBA, Poltava Polytechnic), specialists from the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine and the Win Experts group of companies. It was difficult to make a choice, because many works deserved special attention. However, we managed,” says the president of NEBAU Viktor Leshchynsky.

According to him, the selected logo was then checked for plagiarism at the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property” (Ukrpatent). This took almost two weeks.

“And finally, after all the procedures we endured, we did get the best logo for our museum. We are satisfied with our choice. And the winner, Ksenia Lysyuk, was just congratulated and presented with a certificate with a cash prize of 10 thousand UAH. I am glad that the social initiatives of my Foundation are beneficial and make someone happier. We will continue to support talented people, especially young people, by holding various competitions with valuable prizes,” emphasized Viktor Leshchynsky.

And he also added that he would do everything possible to ensure that the National Museum of Architecture and Construction opens its doors to all comers as soon as possible.

The winner of the competition, Kseniya Lysyuk, says that she submitted several of her works to the competition. And this victory was important for her. Because it is another assessment of her professional activities. The girl works as a designer in the field of printing.

“I thank the entire Leszczynski team and the professional jury for the recognition. This is my double victory. After all, the logo will go down in history. It will become a small contribution to the creation of the museum of architecture and construction itself,” she says.
