On November 14, representatives of local governments, the Architectural Chamber of the National Architectural Association of Ukraine, the Association of United Territorial Communities, as well as architects, designers, planners, and experts gathered in Chernivtsi
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a number of issues related to the reconstruction and construction of public facilities through a competitive procedure.
The event was co-organized by the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine.
The practice of choosing the best solution for the reconstruction or construction of public facilities through a competitive procedure is not widely used in Ukraine, while general world practice shows that a competitive procedure is a democratic procedure, the best of which has not been invented in the world.
The participants of the meeting exchanged views on this topic and outlined a number of steps that could improve the procedure and make it more widespread in communities.
In his welcoming speech, the Executive Director of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine, Oleksandr Petushkov, emphasized the role of the alliance in shaping legislative initiatives and in creating a communication platform for the exchange of experience and ideas between various stakeholders in the expert construction industry.
The Chairman of the Council of the Chernivtsi Regional Branch of the Architectural Chamber of the NSAU, Oleh Pikuschenko, the Chief Architect of Chernivtsi, Nataliya Khilko, and the Head of the Velykochurivska United Territorial Community, Vasyl Toderenchuk, shared their thoughts on the given topic.
The experts of the National Expert Construction Alliance of Ukraine delivered informative reports. Volodymy Nikolin told the audience about new changes in urban planning legislation. Tetyana Nikolaeva, associate professor of the Department of Construction Economics of the KNUBA, about innovations in real estate management using BIM.
